Queens Park Association Football Club Incorporated is a New Zealand owned Incorporated Society. Queens Park AFC is an Invercargill based football club that was formed by Alex Stojkovich in 1957. The original team played in black and white hooped shirts, with black shorts, & red socks. The first clubrooms were located on Elles Road, behind where the old United clubrooms now reside. The club later moved to Turnbull Thomson Pavilion where it stayed for many years. The club is now based at Surrey Park and shares clubrooms with Softball Southland.
Today the playing strip consists of gold shirts, with blue shorts and socks.
At Queens Park our youth coaching setup caters for players from 5 years through to 16 years old.
Our senior men's teams include social teams playing in the Division Two competition, a Division One team, and a Donald Gray Premier team, while our senior women field a Kolk Cup Premier team. In 2022, Queens Park are making their long awaited return to the Southern Football League.
If you are interested in playing or becoming a member of Queens Park AFC, drop us a line, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
